Generate, save, and email complete client time-allocation reports with attached files.

Full Time-Allocation Reports (PDF & Excel Attachments)

Full reports provide clients with detailed breakdowns of all time entries, rate schedule usage, and project activity for a selected date range.
They can be exported as PDF and Excel files, saved to the client’s record, and emailed automatically.

Overview

The full report includes:

  • Hours by team member and account
  • hourly billing totals
  • Oversight time (aggregated)
  • Grand totals and utilisation percentages

Clients receive both files by email and can also download them from the portal.

Steps

  1. Open the Time Allocation Reports page
    Navigate to Client Invoicing → Reports → Time Allocation Reports.

  2. Select the client and date range

    • Example: 1 – 30 September.
    • Review the summary table before generating files.
  3. Save reports to file

    • Choose Save Reports to FileApply.
    • The system produces both a PDF and an Excel version.
    • You can preview or download them to check formatting.
  4. Email the full report to the client

    • With the same client selected, choose Email Reports to ClientApply.
    • Both files are attached to the outgoing email.
    • The attachments are also stored in the database and displayed in the client portal.
  5. Confirm availability

    • Clients logging into the portal will see the files listed under their reports section.

Notes

  • Use Email Status Update for summaries only; Email Reports to Client includes attachments.
  • Always review files before emailing to ensure the correct date range.
  • Files remain visible in the portal for audit and client reference.
