Time tracking: what changed in the new UI?

The latest time-tracking page introduces a cleaner, two-step workflow.

What’s new

  • When you select a Client, the next drop-down now lists all associated accounts — both hourly billing and projects — grouped together.
  • You no longer need separate menus for project vs. hourly billing; everything for that client appears in one place.
  • The layout matches the new design used across the portal for consistency.

Benefits

  • Quicker to find the right account.
  • Reduces duplicate time entries under the wrong project.
  • Easier to track totals across related workstreams.

How to log time

  1. Select the Client.
  2. Choose the Account (hourly billing or project).
  3. Enter date, hours, and work description.
  4. Click Save.

Notes

  • The change affects only the selection flow — all existing time-tracking functionality remains the same.
  • Your previous entries are unaffected.
