Time tracking: what changed in the new UI?
The latest time-tracking page introduces a cleaner, two-step workflow.
What’s new
- When you select a Client, the next drop-down now lists all associated accounts — both hourly billing and projects — grouped together.
- You no longer need separate menus for project vs. hourly billing; everything for that client appears in one place.
- The layout matches the new design used across the portal for consistency.
Benefits
- Quicker to find the right account.
- Reduces duplicate time entries under the wrong project.
- Easier to track totals across related workstreams.
How to log time
- Select the Client.
- Choose the Account (hourly billing or project).
- Enter date, hours, and work description.
- Click Save.
Notes
- The change affects only the selection flow — all existing time-tracking functionality remains the same.
- Your previous entries are unaffected.
